VERY IMPORTANT: Transferring Inventory Guidelines
One of the benefits of our inventory system is that consignors have the ability to transfer items from one sale to the other. However, in order for this to work properly, certain steps must be taken.
PLEASE NOTE THAT FAILING TO FOLLOW THESE STEPS WILL NOT CAUSE AN ERROR TO BE GENERATED ON YOUR SCREEN, BUT COULD PREVENT YOU FROM RECEIVING PAYMENT FOR THE ITEM!
If you wish to consign at two different sales in the same season, please adhere to the procedures and guidelines below to ensure your tags are valid and that you receive payment for your items:
***All of your inventory must only be in one system (location homepage) at a time. In other words, if the last sale you participated in was Greensboro, and you wish to participate in the upcoming Randolph County sale, you must transfer ALL your inventory from Greensboro to Randolph County before adding additional inventory in Randolph County.***
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS MEANS THAT ANY CONSIGNOR WITH ITEMS IN A CURRENT, ONGOING SALE, WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ENTER INVENTORY FOR THE NEXT, UPCOMING SALE UNTIL THE FIRST SALE ENDS, AND YOU REGAIN ACCESS TO TRANSFER YOUR REMAINING UNSOLD INVENTORY TO THE SECOND LOCATION.
(Adding inventory to one location while you have inventory in the other location will be allowed by the system, but…when you later transfer the items, the item numbers could switch causing your existing tags to become invalid. Per our seller agreement, we cannot guarantee payment for any items that do not have a working, valid tag.)
-Here is the process from transferring inventory. For illustration purposes, I am going to use the example as if you are going to transfer inventory from the Greensboro Sale to the Randolph County Sale.
Step 1: Login to your Greensboro homepage.
Step 2: Click the drop down under “Activities Menu” and select “Work with Consigned Inventory”.
Step 3: Click the drop down under “Transfer Inventory” and select “Move Inventory Out”
Step 4: Click “Check/Uncheck All Items” and then click “Submit Transfer”.
Step 5: Click “OK” to execute the transfer.
Step 6: Select the Sale you want to transfer to from the drop down box…and enter your consignor number and password for that sale. Click “Submit Transfer”. “Click OK”
YOU HAVE NOW TRANSFERRED THE INVENTORY OUT OF THE GREENSBORO SALE BUT YOU MUST RECEIVE THE INVENTORY INTO THE RANDOLPH COUNTY SALE WITHIN 30 DAYS OR ALL OF THE ITEMS WILL BE LOST!
In order to receive the Inventory into Randolph County, follow these steps:
Step 7: Login to your Randolph County homepage.
Step 8: Click the drop down under “Activities Menu” and select “Work with Consigned Inventory”.
Step 9: Click the drop down under “Transfer Inventory” and select “Receive Inventory In”
Step 10: Find the Inventory Batch you want to transfer and click “Receive”. Click OK.
All of your inventory has now been transferred and is now selected as ACTIVE. Please deactivate all items and then reactivate only the items you are bringing to the next sale.
